ROAD BIKE Guide

We’re looking for talented sociable people to join us in the Sierra Nevada.

Job Description

• Work as part of a team to deliver high-quality single-day or multi-day tours in Spain

• Ride Leaders are required to guide on the bike or drive support vehicles as required on tour.

• Ensure our guests are having the time/ride of their lives!

• Have general maintenance bicycle mechanic skills.

Minimum requirements:

• Some experience working as a cycling guide or customer-facing role.

• Bike maintenance skills

• Clean Driving Licence (for manual vehicles) valid in Europe

• High level of English - Some Spanish.

• Strong navigational skills

Preferred skills & experience

• Customer service experience

• Experience working on cycling tours

• Proficient cyclist

• Excellent bike mechanic skills

• Strong physical fitness

• Route planning skills

• Experience driving vans

• Experience driving vehicle support for groups of cyclists

• Second language (preference for Nordic & Spanish speakers)

This is a seasonal role with most work available from January to May and then from September to October. All guides are self-employed & must present current First Aid certification before starting work with Cycle Sierra Nevada.
